Quicktime 7 and Pro Tools

Hi all, Is Quicktime 7 compatible with any version of Pro Tools? I'm running PT 6.9.1.cs1 and Mac 10.3.8 I know it's supposed to be compatible with 10.3.9, but last I heard, 10.3.9 isn't recommended for Pro Tools. Anyone know the answer to this? I'd like to upgrade to Quicktime 7 but don't want to screw everything else up in the process. Thanks!

RE: Quicktime 7 and Pro Tools

All I can say is, while you are still on OS 10.3 and running Pro Tools, forget getting quicktime 7. It simply won't work! Wait untill you make the leap to 10.4, then upgrade to 6.9.2 cs2 and quicktime 7 will be fine.

RE: Quicktime 7 and Pro Tools

Quicktime 7 is only compatible with Pro Tools 6.9.2cs2. Any previous version will be problematic, including the update installed with OS 10.3.9.
