Drum Buss/OH Compression

I'm curious what compressor you guys/gals are using on your drum buss and OH's. Ever since I switched to the Focusrite, I'm not able to set my buffers as high as I could with the M-Audio 2496 and some of my plugs that eat a lot of CPU perform badly now. I was using TDR Feedback Compressor II but it's giving me an 11.00+ CPU hit so I am looking to replace it. Thanks!

I second the 160 (though I have the NI flavor), it's a natural choice, especially for the individuals. I've also recently picked up and have been pleasantly impressed with the BSS DPR-402 from Waves (wait for the sale, as usual). Since you're serious about CPU efficiency, you might have to poke around and find some low-latency stuff designed for live use. I know Slate, Native Instruments, and Waves each have good to great low-latency bus comps, but so does pretty much everyone.

I usually reach for Kotelnikov first when compressing the drum bus. The presets for drums on it are an excellent start, and the nice UI makes it super quick to set up the right stereo separation and high pass on the overheads. 1.6-1.8% cpu for me. It's not a light compressor the way ReaComp is. edit: 'eco' mode knocks it down to 1.1

Thanks, everyone! I forgot about Kotelnikov and gave it a shot. It also gives me a 10+ CPU hit but lowers to about 6.5 in ECO mode. Keep 'em coming!
