convert vobsub to srt

i have a subtitles in idx+sub format and i want to convert them in srt format. How can i do that in a simple way? i know that there is subrip, but i'd like a program like subtitle workshop that make the conversion at once..

you can't go faster than subrip. You cannot convert an idx/sub to text subtitle without OCRing it.

I'm afraid U have no other choice silent wolf and if I were U I'd use subrip istead of Vob OCR (subrip is faster), but of course U must have the ifo and vob files otherwise U must OCR with Vobsub

subrip can read idx-sub-combos and you can't do it "at once" because the OCR process is needed you have to tell the computer what each letter is, it can't read itself
