Hi all, well after 5 days im here :sly: . My question is, I have a X264 video which I want to convert to DVD to play in my home system. I have tried using Nero Vision which does convert it the quality is great but it skips & jumps every few seconds & ive tried it about 3 ways using slower & faster settings. Is nero the best for converting X264, should it do the job ok or is it my PC not up to scratch. AMD XP3000, 2gig ram Sorry if this has been asked a lot. :thanks:

RE: Converting X264 to Mpeg2 DVD

Really, that's what the dvd & mpeg2 subforums are for, since AVC input is really no different from any other (divx, quicktime, etc) from the encoder's point of view; there you'll find lots of information related to avisynth input, reinterlacing, pulldown, standards conversion, and such. This forum is related to encoding to AVC.

Sorry, but this part of the forum has x264 all over it, not such a natural assumption to think it maybe a good place to post the question then. Thanks
