Internal Bleeding Unless I Hard Pan

When I'm recording, I have to hard pan all other tracks, or else they end up on the track that I'm recording. Anyone had this issue before?? Thanks.

"What are you using for inputs, and how are your track ins/outs set up?" I'm using a Eurorack 602 Mixer. I'm using the "tape in/tape out" RCAs to the back of the G4.

Ok, similar to my setup (MX802->8600 sound in jack). How do you have your ins/outs set in PT?

Well you have different options on the inputs/outputs on each idividual track, and under the hardware menu for global in/out. Make sure you have the global in/out set to input L/R and output stereo mix L/R. Your individual track in/outs should be set to whichever input you're using, and to output L/R.

"under the hardware menu for global in/out. Make sure you have the global in/out set to input L/R and output stereo mix L/R." Thanks. But under the Hardware Menu (under Setups), a window regarding CPU usage pops up, nothing about in/out settings. Can't seem to find Global in/out elsewhere (nor in the PT Ref Guide).

Sorry, my bad. The output options are under Setups>Preferences>Operation>Output Options. It should be set for Stereo Mix. You might also check I/O Labels from the Setups menu to make sure nothing is screwy in there. They should all be L/R except for the sends. If everything is cool there it must be an external hardware issue. Make sure you're not routing your outputs back to the inputs somehow.

" If everything is cool there it must be an external hardware issue." Thanks. Yeah, everything checked out fine. Perhaps it is w/my mixer, but I think I've repatched to every option...but I must be missing something. Not sure what, though.

You're not trying to monitor your existing tracks through the mixer while recording are you?
