Noob question about update and SWS

Hello all! Currently running reaper 3.651 32 bit in Win 7 64 bit OS. Quad core Amd x64 (something) 8gb ram. I get so puzzled (beacause I am a relative Reaper Noob). When new updates are available should I download 32 bit reaper or 64? For the info: I am currently using 32 in a 64 bit win 7 OS; this works great as I figure that is what I want given the use of 32 bit plug-ins. All is well in this configuration. Second, I have purchased the outstanding Reaper Power! text and find it very, very helpful. Will I run into difficulties as the text authored by the insightful, Geoffrey Francis in 2010 (no first edition date given) present problems when I implement actions suggested in the text? Third, Yesterday I installed the SWS Plugins/extensions and I am eager to begin configuring work-flow etc. WARNING: Shameless plug to follow.......... Reaper Power! great book, buy it. I have read many, many manuals over the years and this treatise is outstanding. When used in conjuction with the Reaper Manual I have powerful tools at my disposal. Second Shameless plug: SWS. Must buy. Sorry for the ramble. PS no connection to the authors, just damn impressed with the content. In contrast, read a Roland manual from the 90's. Be well all. WS.

If you have installed a 32-bit version, then continue to download that one. If you download 64-bit version, I think you're gonna have to transfer your personal settings to that version's Reaper resource path. All in all, you can have both on your computer at the same time.

Thank you. Continuing under 32 bit.
