RE: 7 wont open my old 6.7LE sessions :invalid config
I just upgraded to Pro Tools M Powered 7.1 from Pro tools 6.7 LE. Everything else seems fine all the old the plugins work etc. But it wont allow me to open my session files:( which of course is causing an mini heart attack. The exact message is... "could not open because the session was created with an invalid configuration of pro tools" Im using Pro Tools M Powered 7.1 ( I havent ran the upgrade yet to 7.3) Has anyone had any luck getting this to work correctly. Is there something I can do re-save the file sin LE with a different configuration? Thanks in Adavance.

RE: 7 wont open my old 6.7LE sessions :invalid config
I dont get it. M Powered is supposed to be able to open LE files. I cant open them up fine on the computer that has 6.7 LE on it. There no way im going to be able to rebuild all my projects... I mean was there a setting in LE that I didnt have configured preoperly?
RE: 7 wont open my old 6.7LE sessions :invalid config
I have no problems opening files created in LE 5.3, 6.4, 6.7, 6.9, 7.0, and 7.1 with MP7.3 What is the structure of the sessions in question? How many tracks? What kind (audio, midi, video)? What plugins are you using? (this is important) Also, what sample rate were they recorded at? If your current hardware doesn't support that sample rate, you may not be able to open them with MP.
RE: 7 wont open my old 6.7LE sessions :invalid config
Ok all of the tracks use the click plug in and sampletank plugins. There is no recorded audio files (just tracks to accept the pluging) and midi . None of the session have more than 10 tracks . The sample rate is 44.1k. Im using the computer so this shouldnt be an issue. Thanks for trying to talk me thorugh this.
