Christmas Tunes!

Hello friends! I recorded 4 Christmas covers using the Digi001 and thought I would share them with you. My favorite is our version of "Mister Heat Miser" from "A Year Without Santa Claus". I recorded these in one night and mixed the following night. Used 2 Crown GLM-100 for the drum over heads, a 57 on the snare, a EV PL120 on the kick, a 57 on the guitar amp, Bass is direct. On the vocals I used the AT4033 thru the Focusrite Voicemaster. Used mostly Digirack plugins. Used the Joe Meek Meekquilizer (sp?) plugin on the vocals. Did light mastering with T-Racks. Hope you all enjoy, it's not perfect, but it is a fun listen. Thanks for all the tips and tricks! Happy Holidays! Brian Barely Pink

Good Job Superbee! Thats was very entertaining. I liked the mix also, it sounded really good, How did you get the drums fit in the mix as well as you did? Everything sounded good!

I think the key to the drums in this case is the Crown overhead mics I used. they are very transparent. Only used 4 mics total on the drums. B
