Wrong DAE activated

How can I activate the correct DAE. Everytime I try to open PT the computer freezes when is trying to launch the DAE. It a new G4 with 512 of RAM, 40GB, and OS 9.2. Thank You for your Help

Alex- first, please do everyone a favor and keep this issue to just one thread- i see you currently have 3 threads in the top 10 about this. what version of PT are you using? In most cases your DAE version should match. You check your DAE version in the get info (apple+i) of the DAE application. Did you install 2 versions of PT? That's what it sounds like to me. ...make that 4 threads in the top 10, i see that in the time i took to reply to this one you started yet another thread. Man, we're happy to help but it's a lot harder to do so with 4 threads rather than just one. Could you maybe delete 3 and pick one?

Just how many DAE versions and system folders do you have on your Mac? Simple answer is to just delete all the ones on your system that you don't want or need. Rail
