Hi, I`m newbie to capturing vhs so forgive me... My question is can I capture my videos from vcr with my geforce4600 as I`ve installed video capturing drivers with that card? I tried already with different capturing programs but they didn`t recognize the card. Do I need a TV-card or something or will I just have to "activate the s-vhs-"port"" in windows? Thx, Tantab.
are you using w2k or xp? which brand of geforce have you got? mostly all the geforce vivo cards will work with the nvidia wdm drivers they should work fine in virtualdub if not then try remember that obviously, you should disable the tv out whilst you are capturing, the card's tv chip cannot both output and input simultaneously
------------------------ I sold this car after a very lengthy restoration, but it's just too pretty to remove from my sig.
i've got a geforce 4 mx 460 and capture works fine... i use PowerVCR II for capturing to mpg... because i don't have enough diskspace to save uncompressed video :-( regards steVe
Alright, Wotef, it seems like I had the wrong or to old wdm-drivers installed, thx for the leadtek-link! Till now my picture is only black/white but I think that`s a setting problem or something I might be able to handle on my own. If not you`ll hear from me..;) Tantab.
