I need some help setting up and I was wondering if someone with some experiance can give me quick instructions for setting up and recording a guitar through a soundblaster audigy 2 zs. I have set it up twice before and it worked great the first time and the second time I was getting a delay, I know it was setup differently both times.

Asio4all drivers and set latency to as low as u can get it, Probably 256 samples. Might have to go with 512 samples though, I'm not sure how capable those soundcards are.

Ok I've got the input setup in reaper with the audigy 2 interface but I'm not getting any live sound. If I record a track and save it I can hear it when played but can't hear anything while recording.

I'm using an Audigy 2 ZS, on a really crappy dual core CPU, and I can easily run at 2-5 ms latency, btw.

also, what other effects processing might be in-line before the output signal? these things can add to delay since it takes time to produce the effect

Ok I figured out that I didn't have a master output selected.
