I have two movies that I want to be able to get on one disc. Each movie is around 1.7 gigs. I hate having to put a movie on dvdit and only use 1/2 of the disc. Is there anyway dvdit can record two movies on one?

Of course you can bro! Drop both of the clips in the Video Pallete and in the Menus right-click the first video and go to the properties and type in Next & Afer playing to change it to video2 or whatever you named your Video. Sorry 4 da cheeZy explaining coz I'm @ School right now. When I get home I'll explain the whole thing step-by-step. But you'll probally get the idea what I'm talkin about! :) Hope I can help U!

RE: Dvdit Pe

Hey man thanks alot. I am just starting to get into this stuff. I just finished my first quarter of school again after 10 years of being away. This video stuff has me addicted. Trying to burn dvd's and all can take lots of time. It seems to me that I miss lots of steps unless it is explained. Trying to figure out the correct capture methods and all. Using ATI AIW for my capture with MMC. I also wanted to know why it seems with the coaxal cable it takes up much more space than with svideo connector. I thought it would be other way around.

S-Video is less noisy (chroma and luma transmitted separately), so the file size will be smaller when using VBR.

no problem bro! Have you figured it out already? I have been very busy with work 'N stuff these days. So if you haven't figure it out-I can write some sorta step-by-step guide for using two video clips. Just to let you know, if you use more than 1 video clip, you will be sacrificing time display. hOpe i cAn hElP! :) deePA

Hey man thanks. I have been busy trying to capture video. Seems as though the best I can get is by going with a strait AVI capture. Problem is I can only get 90 min on my 120 gig HDD. Tried the huffyuv codec with virtualdub. Seems not as good as the zero compression option. I like the capture with ATI MMC and then use tmpge to compress to mpg. and then use dvdit to author. I am sure there are many other options. I am a quality man. Ears and Eyes are my strong point.
