RE: Subwoofer harness

Hi Gareth, Looked it up today and I was right. Your particular model year requires the wiring kit to wire into the REM, entails pulling connectors apart to fit wires, earth behind battery, connections to rear 'D' pillar speakers and a software download. As postedby downundeR the instructions are on the Volvo site. Paul.

RE: Subwoofer harness

Oh, ****. So Volvo Cars UK's information that my vehicle should have the sub harness already installed is in fact wrong. Good to know that they know their own product so well. :( It's also contradictory to what I've read from various web forum contributors, and also to what I was told by the guy who sold me the sub on Ebay (lying git!). Do you happen to know the part number that I need, Paul - and more importantly how much it might cost me? And as a matter of interest, you say you "looked it up" - where? (Jon @ Slaters - as soon as I get around to fixing the bit of the sub that got trashed by TNT when they delivered it and I've physically fitted it to the car, I'll be in touch!!)
