Rendering Performance

Some VSTis don't handle offline high speed rendering well. Try changing the preference 'VST plugin settings'/'Inform Plug-ins of offline rendering state' and see if it makes a difference.

RE: Rendering Performance

For VSTi's that hold a lot of layered samples in memory adjusting the pre-load buffer size can resolve this too. This happens in Steven Slate drums with parts that have long tails (cymbals, rides, toms). Not sure what that setting might be in East West but you might see if you can find a something similar (if there is one) and boosting that buffer. Regards, DB

RE: Rendering Performance

Good info guys, thanks. Perhaps other DAWs treat offline rendering differently? I ask because two of them I've used didn't seem to have this issue. It's not a major problem and I'll definitely look into those suggestions! Thanks, Nate

RE: Rendering Performance

I'm using EWQL PLAY also and I can't get it render correctly unless using 1x offline setting. Even that doesn't always guarantee perfect render with PLAY, but it's workable. cheers
