Reaper is Awesome, but its Crashing- heelpp...

Gosh, this has just got me by the proverbials. Reaper is crashing. I'm running a project with 65 tracks. 35-38% usage on the cpu, 68 fx for 15% usage. The project is using 665mb of ram, 2534mb of ram are free for my entire system, with 3582mb available. I've got 4gigs worth of ram installed. Q6600. I have run two versions of memtest, one of them from a boot cd: memtest 86+2.11. No errors. I've run several tests. Several hours for each. The project has fm7 running, but I offlined this. Loaded up Battery 2. Then I tried to load in a kit. I got a warning message saying my physical memory was too low. I've been messing around with my page file size, thinking this might help. Nope. Reaper is 2.55. I've been thinking about the 3gb switch thingy, but it seems weird that my system would "see" the extra ram, but still need the 3gb switch "flipped." Any help would be appreciated. I about ready to just get some new ram, but with all the memtests coming back ok, I feel like I'll be throwing money away.

Crashes are pretty much always related to plugins. If you could provide more info on the crash it will probably contain the crashing plugin name. The insufficient memory message from Battery 2 is a known Battery bug on systems with more than 2GB RAM.

Steindoork, Thanks thanks for responding. Well, there you have I guess -more than 2gigs and Battery takes a beating. I'll have another look at what other plugs are up. FWIW though, at least on my system, there are a few plugs that seem to have something to do with either crashs or freeze ups -melodyne and ambience most notably. Thank goodness that Reapers own plugs are so good. Thanks again!
