Try the Alesis AI3 analog to light pipe. It's 24 bit. Costs about 400 bucks and worked for me right out of the box.

I'm currently running a 16 track analog studio and am planning to purchase the 001 in order to improve my editing and mixing power. Perhaps one of you knowledgeable gentlebeings could advise me as to the best sounding and most efficient method to obtain 16 real time inputs for analog transfers (tape still sounds great.). Is it through the lightpipe input? If so, what are the best input breakouts with lightpipe outs?
