MPEG1 in DVD2SVCD

If you choose to create an MPEG1/VCD in D2S instead, what do I need to fill in in the bitrate section? Just 1150kbit everywhere?

The easiest thing is to use the "Load Settings" option on the Misc tab, and then select the VCD-Settings.ini file that is provided with DVD2SVCD. This will provide a good standard set of defaults for creating a VCD.

Sorry to post on your thread, but, I also make alot of VCD's and have experimented with bit rates. I tried what was suggested - go to misc...I did not find a VCD.ini file. I have 1101c and the ini files I found are bbmg change CD, bbmg movie 1, DVD2SVCD and DVD2svcd chapter file. Is the suggested settings one of these four or am I missing it someow? Thanks, Frank

It's in the DVD2SVCD directory and unless you erased it, it's there. It's called VCD-Settings.ini. You must be using a newer version of DVD2SVCD and preferably the latest version for VCD's. Mark
