Hey all got a simple question. I'm using SubStationAlpha to change font size, color, face, ect. to a SubRip file I created. All goes well but when I use certain fonts type (e.g. TT-TrueType or A-dunno what it stands for. O-Open Type is the only font type that works) the \N is seen as text and isn't actually read to create a new line. For example the .ssa file will have the following text at a particular timestamp: hello \nhow are you this display as it should in SSA regardless if the font type is TT, A, or O: hello how are you The issues when I preview an avi through gknot when editing my .avs to add the .ssa sub file. If the font type is anything except OpenType-O it comes out wrong in the .avs preview through gknot without a new line and looks like the following: hello \nhow are you I don't know if SSA is limited to the font type its using or I might be doing something wrong, or maybe when virtual dub reads and encodes the .avs it will create the right line breaks. Please shed some light on this. Thanks. PrinceAli0
