When hitting rec, all midi tracks stops to play. Why?

When hitting rec, (both when recording midi or audio), all midi tracks just stop playing, in the middle of a tone and sometimes stuck on that tone. What? Is it supposed to do that? Anders

The midi track I record is heard, but all other midi tracks stops until I stop recording (pressing rec again) and then they start to play again.

Hello boray and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. Perhaps you could compress a simple problem project file (no samples needed) into a ZIP file and post it here as an attachment so we can have a look at it and see what's (not) happening? In XP, right-click the project file, select Send To ... compressed (Zipped) folder). when you reply, scroll down a bit, open the "Additional Options" section if needed by clicking the double downwards arrows, click on [Manage Attachments], browse to your ZIP file, select and Upload it.

I figured it out! :-) Instead of disarming the previous midi tracks, I had put them to "record disable (input monitoring only)". At least, this problem got me to join this forum... Thanks for the replies!
