Stylus problem

I have been using Stylus and loving it. I came across a problem last week though. I have set up a template that uses Stylus for the click. Stylus has a preset "Urei Click" which is perfect for this. But if I use a couple of other Stylus plugs in the session, and then close and restart the session, the Stylus plugs don't some up on the right tracks. For example: Stylus 1 is the click, Stylus 2 is Drum Loop A controlled by a MIDI track named "Stylus 2 MIDI" and Stylus 3 is Drumloop B controlled by " Stylus 3 MIDI." If I close the session and reopen "Stylus MIDI 2" ends up controlling Stylus 1 ( which is still loaded with the Urei Click.) And "Stylus 3 MIDI" ends up controlling Stylus 2. And the click in unassigned. Anyway for this not to happen? Or is this a problem with the way Stylus is re-instatiated. (This doesn't happen if I use another softsynth like Virus for the click.)

RE: Stylus problem

Yeah it puts them in track order. I assume you can drag stylus 1 higher than 2 etc before you close it down. I find this annoying too, because I usually start at the bottom of the session and work up for soft synths. Mine are therefore reversed. I'm sure they'll fix this soon. J

RE: Stylus problem

this is a problem with OMS and can happen with any softsynth that instantiates an OMS node on the IAC bus. The IAC bus has no memory of what softsynth uses which node so it get things confused. With Native softsynths one workaround is to create a fixed IAC port inside OMS Setup but unfortunately Stylus wont let you do that. The fix for this problem is called OS X...

Man, it's a good thing nobody has invented "Scratch 'n Sniff" for the Internet, ain't it?
