At the end of the day, "a profile" is just "a profile"... Given your source, only you can really decide what "profile" setting yields the best results for you. You could even decide to use the "Maximum Definition" setting. Which allows you total control over Recode2's audio and video settings! Where "profiles" are useful is if say, you're a novice who wants to generate encodes that are compatible with an hardware device ;) Cheers
