Taking Time

Hey there, I have an Intel P4 2.00GHz Processor with 1GB RAM and it takes like 30 hours to do a DVD to Xvid 2CD Rip in MeGUI(2 Pass). This is very time consuming because I was told that I should be able to rip in 12-14 hours. Please help me. :thanks:

RE: Taking Time

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting an Intel P4 2.8GHz processor. Should this affect the timings? :thanks:

RE: Taking Time

If you use MeGui for Deinterlacing and it suggests TDeint(with EDI) as first choice, try TDeint(), which is problably second choice, instead, this should also give a nice speed boost. And yes, normally faster cpu means faster encoding. Cu Selur
