You can run Vdubmod or Vdub under Linux with WINE. I have a screen shot of my Linux box running Virtualdub and compressing an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode with Xvid over at Christian's Virtualdub site. :D And it was running faster than under Windows on the same box. Getting Vdub to run is not the hard part. That is getting the codecs to install and be shown. Koepi's NSI Xvid installer works great though. I am still trying to get a good working MP3 codec going though. If you are not that familliar with WINE the codeweavers RPMs are excelent. They will automate the install and config process for you.
