Items in FIPM tracks no longer follow the mouse pointer when dragged vertically. They land where they should when the mouse button is released, but it's not so easy to put them where you want.
This is checked working fine up to Pre3, now in either Pre4 or Pre5 the recent right click behaviour bug on items is back, where you have to click an item twice to bring up the context menu...the first click selects the item only.
Ehm... we SHOULDN'T be able to insert a negative note value?! If you click say "C2" in piano midi editor and run the "step input: insert note at current -01 semitones" it should place a note at B2 but instead places a note at G9. I had made some macros to place chords in the midi editor and using negative values.

I don't know if it's new to 3.06 (pre5) but I get strong (metallic, not white) noise burst when unsoloing a track which was the only one soloed; I found that disabling anticipative FX solves the problem. The project has around 12 tracks, all MIDI and softsynths, no audio files. My system has an Intel Core 2 Q9650 processor (quad core) with 4GB RAM; Mobo is Abit IP35 Pro XE. Audio card is Terratec EWS88MT, with ASIO drivers. In previous 3.0x this was not happening, even though this is the first time I get serious with projects in REAPER - I mean, previously I were using simpler projects. CPU is around 20%. I have a SONAR instance running at the same time with REAPER, but SONAR runs using MME drivers for another card output, no conflict and both play without problems. The REAPER project has two RMV instances, one of which uses multiple outputs, and both the Synth main track and its audio outputs are in a folder. I get the problem unsoloing a track that feeds RMV; the noise lasts for less than a second, and it's just like REAPER tried to "catch up" with tracks that weren't audible due to solo and suddenly become audible when unsoloing. Am I the only one seeing this problem? Thanks, Mario
