Proteus X2 not rendering

Hello, Anyone using Proteus X2? Seems to be working OK in Reaper with tiny exception - it's impossible to render the mix with it. Reaper freezes with "not rendering, ETA infinity" window and I have to kill the whole program. None of other plugins gives me such problem.

I was running Proteus X2 as a Plug-in for Reaper for a year with out any issues with an EMU 0404 Card with EMU's Patchmix driver. I upgraded my card to an Edirol M16-DX and have similiar experiences. My other Plug-ins work great but Proteus acts strange, and sometimes I have to restart Reaper. Hopefully someone else hears our issues, and can help.

Using Emulator X2 I have to make sure ASIO and MIDI is set to use my 1820m when rendering. That's btw true for all DAWs I'm using. I blame the anti-piracy measures.

My ProteusX2 came with a midi box that acts as a dongle and I can't render either. That thing is more trouble than it is worth and I only paid $20 for it.

Mine needs xboard keyboard plugged in to work (I have ordinary sound blaster audigy for a sound card), drivers and firmware and recent. Shame it doesn't work as expected, they bundled few CDs with lots of samples, could be fun. Bouncing off everything to disk works, but I guess it isn't meant to be done that way.

I think it only happens when Proteus X2 has to switch sample rates for the time of rendering. Try experimenting with sample rate settings in Reaper, from what I recall it used to fix the problem. The same applies to the "freebie" version (Proteus VX).
