Beechstudio welcome to the Reaper Forums! Do you have Digidesign's ASIO drivers installed? This is for using Digidesign's hardware with other software. I do not see 001 on the list of hardware though.

Well....I didn't check the compatibilty docs on Digi's site. But, I thought I read somewhere in the Reaper site that it was compatible with a Digi001. Is anyone using Reaper with a Digi001? Thanks for your help zappsunzorn!
Ok....I found an Archived link that goes to v7 ASIO driver which supports the Digi001. Thanks for that link zappsunzorn! (I really just need to get rid of the 001 anyway)
I also use the Digi001 with the ASIO Driver. Zero problems once the correct driver was installed. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Unless you need an interface with more capability, no reason to dump the DIGI.
Hey.. It's right here... Download it and throw that in your reaper folder, and select the 001 in the audio device preferences menu in reaper. If you have PT installed on the computer, get rid of it totally. Some people are having problems with PT and the Reap on the same computer. I haven't had any luck getting the midi in my 001 to work, so don't sweat that too much, just get a $30 Midi to USB cable if you require midi, and have no other means of getting into the computer. I just ran into that this week, needing synths on a song. Good Luck dude. Like the others here... Mine runs like a top. No problems to report other than not getting the midi to work, which I cured.
VOXXY.....you posted "V7 asio driver" for the digi 001, but I only see 6.1......V7 is for digi 002 right? You said "throw it in your reaper folder"....so just having the driver isn't good enough?.....I have to put the driver file in reaper's folder? I am TOTALLY new to PC recording, and your help is greatly appreciated....I come from the days of hardware recording and was bummed when I realized protools 5.3 w/ digi 001(from ebay) can't rewire reason4 OR! use vst's without a wrapper(whatever that is)..... do worlds of good for your karma and help a n00bie out! TIA
