Audio Interface

Hello, I would like to know what type of audio interface you people would suggest that works with Reaper? I'm basically looking for any option OTHER than Digidesign, M-Audio and their new owner Avid. I'm currently in some bizarre tech support and product registration loop after puttin in my credit card. hey it's only $2.50 a minute, what do they care??? Someone answers then tells me to call the same number again. USB or Firewire obviously. I'm looking for something that has at least at least 2 analog inputs, 2 midi. Phantom power is a requirement. And, I'd like to be able to send to headphones, which is something i can't currently do with my 3 month old and somehow broken pos Mbox 2. Price range could be anywhere from %500-1500. Just looking for recommendations. Thanks for your time.
