740 Engine won't Rev up

You should have a B230F with LH2.4 Fuel Injection with EZ116K Ignition. Did you check the OBD under the hood (bonnet) for any codes present and if so what were the codes? Hiya Peter, It has a Bosch K Jetronic Fuel Injection system.On plastic Cam Belt cover it says 1289140, B230E, NR2943. On aluminium Chassis Plate (Drvers side) Volvo 0570510V, YV1745842, J2145150, 1950KG, 1-0890Kg, 2-1060Kg. 15, 402-2, 5953. Behind Grille in front of Rad Volvo 3503033. Another painted plate 842931. on passenger side Made in Belgium, though it is a UK car. On Coil it says Bosch TCI Ignition Coil. This is everything I can see. I do hope this is of help.
