I MOVIE question.

I know I am going to take a lot of flack for posting a non related PT question on the forums but you guys are my last hope since every other forum that is actually related to IMovie doesn't know crap. Ok, basically all i want to know is how the heck do I make the titles in IMOVIE not look like fuzzy pieces off dog poo. They look all blurry and jagged and crappy. When I preview the titles they look great but when they are rendered htey look like crap and they still look that way even if I export my movie. So if anyone knows how to fix that it would be greatly appreciated. And for all the people who are going to flame me about posting on this forum, I will ask a PT question to make you happy. Has anyone noticed a significant slow down in the booting of PTLE 5.1.1 with Waves Plugin wave shells loading? It seems when I upgraded it has slowed down a lot. Anywhoo, I would REALLY like answers to the IMovie qustion if you got em. Keep Rockin all my fellow Pro Tool worshipees.

RE: I MOVIE question.

Try exporting at FULL quality - I assume this is for importing into PT? Either way, Sounds like you're using motion JPEG or some other compression scheme. That would definitely blur text (depending on your qulaity settings). Give it a shot. Andy O.

RE: I MOVIE question.

Recording the movie via 1394 to a DV camcorder is the best ticket. For an anti-aliasing option, you may have to export the dang thing to FCP. Sorenson compression is the ONLY way to convert BTW. Media Cleaner 2 does provide that algorithm, among other things. [ August 28, 2001: Message edited by: shaggy ]
