I actually got the Kore drums to sound decent...with some compression, a limiter and some reverb they should be ok. There is still one problem when it comes to editing...my ride is on a channel that the drum machine has assigned to a tom. How do I select all the notes on that channel and cut and paste them onto the proper channel at the proper time? Thanx for your help...it is invaluable...Jimmahbee
You might be able to solve your problem by using a plugin to "remap" the keys, or you can literally move the notes in the midi editor by pressing Ctrl + arrow up/down. However since you are also looking for drum samples (sampler) there is a thread here that could unleash a lot of power, there is a learning curve, but once learned you should find it comes in very useful for all sorta of things. Ctrl + up down...o.k.gotcha..btw I heard your music...good job...I like the song 'tumblestones'. beautiful finger picking!. Puts me to shame! thanx again for your help...Jimmahbee
Well it worked...I'm even editing each drum to have it's own track...(which is what I wanted in the first place...I see the value of templates now even though it seems complicated) but once again thank you...you really helped me!! Jimmahbee
I was wondering...how do I affect something globally in midi piano roll...if I want to make say all the notes a uniform volume...? Also I'm using a compressor as a fx bus but it doesn't seem to be making any difference even with it all the way up...? You help is again invaluable...thanx Jimmahbee
