Captured File Size...

Hey Guys, I tried to do some video capturing from my Sony digital camera for the first time. I used Unlead Media studio for that, I ran the Video Capture and did some video capturing of about 39.12 seconds, as a result I have an AVI file that takes about 143MB! Is that normal!? I mean, if I want to transfer a full DV cassete of about 1.5Hours, will it take about 20GB?! Even after encoding to MPEG2/DIVX I guess it won't take less than 5GB... Is this the normal size? or I've missed something? Thanks a lot.

RE: Captured File Size...

This is normal, DV takes about 3.6 megabytes per second.
