edit single point in midi file

When I edit a drum loop midi file sometimes I want to change one note but it always makes the same change in the same spot every time the loop is repeated. Is there a way to edit a midi file without changing other parts of it?

gluing part or all of a midi item makes it into a "new" midi item, might do what you want.

No need to glue, just split left and right from your edit point to have an independent item to do your edit in. The rest of your looped item will remain unchanged.
