Is it possible to make default area for subtitles two strings-height, instead of three?

I would like to ask in addition: is it possible to have a default font etcetera at all? I probably missed something somewhere, or is it just impossible? Tnx.

RTFM Setting -> Default Setting -> Subtitle Text
