Mouse Scroll Wheel

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be used to control the knobs of most plugins . For example UAD or Powercore plugins support this feature and it works fine when loading them up in other DAW's but not in Reaper ? Or is there a hidden setting somewhere that I've missed ?

Is there an open issue for this? This is something I would very much like to see resolved as well!
